      We are a family built, family run, sporting camp & wilderness retreat. Our lodge and cabins are on the shore of beautiful Upper Hot Brook Lake, where we have a mile of lake frontage. We specialize in four seasons of hunting and fishing adventures, wilderness canoe and kayak trips, winter time snowmobiling fun, and relaxing family vacations in our lake front cabins.
      We are in a great area for big game and small game hunting, specializing in bear hunting, deer hunting, and moose hunting, with healthy populations of bear, deer, and moose, and hundreds of miles of wilderness to hunt them in. For the upland hunter, we offer some of the finest grouse hunting and woodcock hunting in the country. Our area lakes and waterways also provide great duck hunting.
      Throughout the winter months, there is great family fun. Snowmobile right from our front door on hundreds of miles of groomed , uncrowded trails. During the fall and winter months we hunt snowshoe hare with our beagles (rabbit hunting is an absolute blast), bobcat, and coyote. Other enjoyable activities are horse drawn sleigh rides, ice fishing, snow shoeing, and cross country skiing.
      Spring and summer bring awesome fishing whether you prefer fly-fishing or spin fishing. This area is very famous for its tremendous smallmouth bass fishing, salmon fishing, lake trout fishing, brook trout fishing, and perch fishing. Besides our own Hot Brook Lakes, we fish East Grand Lake, Spednik Lake, Baskahegan Lake, and many other well-known lakes. We also fish the Mattawamkeag River, St. Croix River, Baskahegan River, Meduxnekeag River, and Penobscot river, as well as several streams throughout the region, including the famous Grand Lake Stream.       Spring and summer is also a great time for family vacations. Stay in our lake front cabin rentals which have all the comforts of home. You can kick back, relax, and enjoy peaceful solitude and breathtaking sunsets. You can go swimming, take a nice relaxing canoe or boat ride, take in some of the beautiful scenery hiking, or by ATV riding on the many hiking and ATV trails in our area.
