MAINE GROUSE & WOODCOCK HUNTING

     Wilderness Escape Outfitters offers the upland hunter some of the finest wing shooting in the country. With large tracks of privately owned land, abandoned farms and orchards Grouse and Woodcock abound. This makes for the wing shooting experience of a lifetime.

     We offer three and six day packages for upland bird hunting. We also offer guided and non-guided hunts. We provide maps and direction for our upland hunters to show them to the best bird covers, and we mark the spots where you are more apt to find woodcock. The bottom line is we try to help you, any way we can. Because, we want you to have success and to have a great time.

     Our guides are top notch Registered Master Maine Guides that are experienced, knowledgeable and professional. Our guides use German Shorthair Pointers, Blackfield Pointers, and Labrador Retriever gun dogs. They are all, well trained and very good dogs. You are also welcome to bring your dogs as well. We have kennels, dog boxes and all the gear.

     During the fall grouse and woodcock hunting season, we also offer Duck hunting on the area waterways and we hunt Snowshoe Hare with our beagles. A combo hunt can be arranged if that is something that you would like to do.
